Our Story

OUR JOURNEY AND MOTIVATION

Growing up in Nigeria, I had a classmate named Obinna in Kindergarten who wore a wristwatch to school every day. One afternoon, while we were playing on the playground, I accidentally broke his cherished watch. Unfortunately, my family was unable to replace it due to financial difficulties. Thankfully, Obinna’s parents were understanding and chose to forgive the incident, which allowed Obinna and me to forge a strong friendship. This bond led our families to enroll us together in the same elementary school.

Tragically, Obinna was diagnosed with lymphoma and passed away during his final year of high school. This poignant memory deepened my appreciation for wristwatches and ignited a desire to own one in honor of my dear friend. Over the years, my aspiration to create a wristwatch brand became a driving force in my life. The urgency of this dream intensified during the global Covid pandemic, a time fraught with uncertainty and challenges. It was during this period that Flexaago was born, established in San Diego, California, in 2020.

At Flexaago, our mission is to inspire hope in underprivileged children in developing countries, reinforcing the belief that nothing is impossible. A portion of every purchase made on our website is dedicated to charitable initiatives worldwide, ensuring that we give back and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
